Resource Center

The Concord Homeless Resource Center(CHRC) is a project of the CCEH.
It is located at 6a South State Street in Concord.
Guests who are currently homeless or in immanent danger of becoming homeless come to the CHRC to discover what resources are available to them. These range from computer tutoring to assist them in searching for and applying for a job, to applying for financial assistance, rent assistance or healthcare benefits, to finding support and encouragement.

Hours: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday thru Friday

Resource Center Update

The Concord Homeless Resource Center of the CCEH continues to serve around 30 new clients a month and to have an average of 500 visits a month of both new and continuing guests. 28 guests have found housing it the past 6 months, and others have been assisted in making a Goal and Action Plan for themselves and in achieving various goals, such as securing i.d., applying for assistance, getting computer training, learning budgeting, polishing communication skills, writing resumes, etc. The Resource Center is always in need of volunteers and specific items. Resource Center Needs

Always in need of coffee, filters, fresh fruit, paper towels, toilet paper,bus passes, money for birth certificates.

Volunteers Needed for Resource Center

9-11 and 11-1 shifts.
Training. Welcome guests, assist with computer tutoring,
keep records.
